Body Language
The idea of this project is to express thoughts, beliefs, and/or culture of certain hand gestures through artistic manifestation.
Promise - A pinky promise is an action usually seen in drama or romance films and animations. I used this gesture to convey love and promise through both the gesture, and the red string of fate superstition where it is believed in certain Asian countries that two people are tied and are destined to be together.
Deliberation - This hand gesture is called the Vitarka Mudra and is commonly seen or used in religious practices (Hinduism and Buddhism) and meditation. It is meant to be symbolic of the transmission of learnings and ideas from Buddha.
